Features to know about

Carry More Without Swapping Gear: Dual 2" Receivers for Towing and Accessories

The SuperHitch Hero’s dual, vertically stacked 2" receivers let you tow a trailer while keeping a bike rack or cargo carrier mounted at the same time. Each receiver is rated up to 10,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 1,000 lbs tongue weight, or up to 15,000 lbs GTW and 1,500 lbs TW when using weight distribution. It’s a setup that saves time and expands what you can do with your truck—no need to choose between towing your trailer or carrying extra gear.

Built to Handle Heavy Loads: Class V Strength with Reinforced Hitch Pin Holes

This Class V hitch is built for serious towing. The sturdy steel construction and high-penetration, dual-shield welds give it the backbone to pull hefty trailers with confidence. Hardened, reinforced hitch pin holes prevent elongation wear, so the receiver keeps its shape over years of use. It’s made for heavy loads and tough conditions without giving up long-term reliability.

Easy-to-Install and Camper Friendly: Bolt-On Design with Pre-Drilled Tie-Down Mounts

The SuperHitch Hero bolts directly to the frame—no welding required—and comes pre-drilled for TorkLift camper tie-downs. It’s designed to work with SuperTruss extensions (sold separately), which can extend the receiver from 21" up to 60" to clear a bed-mounted camper. Built-in safety chain loops and included hitch pins and clips make it ready to use once installed.

Long-Lasting Protection for the Road Ahead: Corrosion-Resistant Finish

A black powder coat finish protects the steel from rust and abrasion so it stays looking solid after miles of towing. This durable coating helps resist chips and corrosion from road debris or weather exposure, keeping your hitch dependable season after season.

I've just installed the hitch receiver. I am impressed with the build quality. It did have one issue, it looks like one corner of the mounting plate got bent a little in shipping, but I was able to correct it. It wasn't a part of the plate that was weight bearing for the towing part of the hitch. It is heavy and does require 2 people to install. The steal construction is nice and thick. The extra bracing back to the frame is very nice and gives me confidence it can handle the loads I tow with. The one issue I would recommend TorkLift fixes, is that there's no holes on the back side of the hitch to put the wiring harness hold down clips back in like the factory hitch receiver had. So I have to use a lot of wire ties in awkward ways to keep wires out of pinch points and abrasive areas. E-Trailer MUST make a video on how to install this specific hitch, I looked every where for one, couldn't find one, even TorkLift didn't have one. So I spend a lot of time figuring things out, the installation manual was not specific enough to the 2022 F150 I have. But, I can't wait to try it out.

Totally agree - adding clips to support the wiring at the bracket would definitely make the install cleaner. Hopefully we'll be able to shoot a video on this hitch soon! What kind of setup are you planning to run with it, Phillip?

@GwendolynY I plan to use the new hitch to tow a 30' Jayco JayFlight SLX8 camper.  But also a typical flatbed trailer for hauling ATVs or a small tractor.  I have a WeighSafe True Tow Middleweight – Weight Distribution Hitch that I'll use when towing.

@Phillip That hitch is going to earn its keep for sure! Got any trips planned with the Jayco coming up soon?

To anyone looking - this hitch is a MASSIVE upgrade from the OEM. The sidewalls are thicker, the mounting plates are thicker and more robust, and the stabilizer plates extending to the frame are stout. Installation per the instructions were simple and I had no issues. Two people and a jack are a definite must, this hitch is heavy!

  • Recommended Class IV Hitch for a 2020 Ford F-150 Lariat w/a Factory Hitch
Unfortunately you can not Doug. The factory hitch on your 2020 Ford F-150 Lariat is part of the rear step-bumper assembly. It's bolted to your frame and then the step-bumper bolts to the trailer hitch. Removing the factory hitch removes the mounting point for your bumper. I have two options for installing a higher capacity hitch on your 2020 Ford F-150 Lariat with a factory hitch. I have listed them below: The Curt Trailer Hitch item # C26HR is going to install below your factory hitch....

  • What Hitch Extension Can Be Used With A Weight Distribution Hitch?
Hey John, thanks for reaching out. The Blue Ox Hitch Extender for Tow Bars # BX88265 is designed for use with hitch mounted accessories like a bike rack, or for flat towing a vehicle. It cannot be used for towing a trailer and it especially cannot be used with a weight distribution system. The only hitch extensions we carry that can be used with a weight distribution system are the Reese Titan hitch extenders like the part # RP45292 that require a 2-1/2 inch hitch and the Torklift extenders...

  • Recommended 2" Hitch Extender for a Truck w/ the Tailgate Down
Hey Brandon. The longest hitch extender we have is the 14" long Gen-Y Hitch item # GY89SR. This fits a 2" receiver and has a 10,000 lbs capacity but it will reduce your hitches capacity by 50% like all hitch extenders do. The 15-3/4" Long Hidden Hitch Ball Mount item # 80232 fits a 2" receiver and has a 6,000 lbs tongue weight capacity. It will not reduce your hitch's capacity. If you're using a weight distribution system, the 18" long extended Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank item # EQ90-02-4500...

  • Recommended Class V Hitch for a 2023 Ford F-150 w/ the Factory Hitch
Hey Jason! We have a one option to add a class IV hitch to your 2023 Ford F-150. It is the Curt item # C26HR. This mounts below your factory hitch and will give you a 10,000 lbs towing capacity. The main draw back of this hitch is you won't be able to mount your spare tire beneath your truck once you install it. A better option, if your F-150 has the factory hitch rated to 10,500 lbs, is the TorkLift SuperHitch item # TL74CR. This is a class V with dual 2" receivers. It will allow you...

  • Recommended TorkLift SuperHitch for a 2023 Ford F-150
Hey Cristian! The TorkLift SuperHitch Hero Trailer Hitch Receiver item # TL74CR, you were looking at, is F1009H. This hitch fits a 2023 Ford F-150. What are you looking to haul with this hitch?

  • Recommended Replacement Trailer Hitch for a 2015 Ford F-150 With a Factory 11k Hitch
Hey Adam, since the TorkLift Class 5 Trailer Hitch # TL74CR is only designed to work with factory hitches rated up to 10,500 lbs, it's not going to work with your truck that has factory hitch rated for 11k. Instead, you'd want to use the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C26HR which has an up to 12,000 lb capacity when used with a weight distribution system. If there is anything else I can do for you, please feel free to drop a comment and let me know!

  • Does The TorkLift SuperHitch TL74CR Fit A 3rd Generation Ford F-150 Raptor?
Hi JC! The TorkLift SuperHitch Hero Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - Dual 2" Receivers # TL74CR will fit Gen 2 and up for the Ford F-150 Raptor, specifically 2017 to 2027, so you are good to go! However, it does need to be noted that you have to have the factory hitch for this to fit properly and that hitch cannot be the one rated to 11,500 pounds. I don't think this hitch is installed on the Raptor models, but it wouldn't hurt to double check that, just to be sure. What...

  • Availability of Trailer Hitch for 2024 Ford F-150 That Accommodates 20" Spare Tire
Hey Brent, welcome back again! The only option that fits the larger spare is the TorkLift SuperHitch Hero Trailer Hitch Receiver # TL74CR. This has a max tongue weight of 1,000 lbs and fits the F-150 with the factory hitch. If you don't have the factory hitch, all of the other options like the Curt # C14017 would require relocating your spare tire.
